The Role:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Civil Lawyer or experienced Paralegal to join our team. The successful candidate will handle a diverse caseload, providing expert legal advice and representation in civil matters.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing a caseload of civil litigation matters from inception to resolution
- Providing clear, practical legal advice to clients
- Drafting legal documents, pleadings, and correspondence
- Representing clients in court, mediation, and negotiations
- Conducting legal research and staying up to date with relevant legislation
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships
Requirements
- Newly or recently qualified solicitor (or studying towards)
- Proven experience in civil litigation (preferably minimum of one year)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple cases and meet deadlines
- High level of professionalism and client care
Desirable Skills
- Experience in specific areas such as contract disputes, property litigation or others
- Advocacy experience
- Strong negotiation skills
