We are looking for an Insolvency Cashier to join our small but busy Cashier team in our Bury office.

Our expert team of specialists deliver positive strategic advice across restructuring and insolvency, funding and law across 29 offices and we remain the largest independent restructuring firm in the UK.

The main duties will be to assist the team with the internal cashiering function.

The specific duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Processing payments and dividends
  • Reconciling the payments account as well as case bank accounts
  • General filing, maintenance of cashier files.
  • Other duties as required by the Cashier Manager
  • You will be trained to – set up bank accounts, add receipts, maintain case accounts

Skills required:

  • Self-driven with a positive outlook
  • Motivated and proactive with the ability to work as part of a team
  • Strong organisation and planning skills with ability to work to deadlines
  • Experience in either accounting or book keeping is desirable, with a strong mathematical ability/qualification being essential
  • Sound financial knowledge and numerical skills
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office packages
