The predicted salary is between 40000 - 50000 £ per year.

In this hands-on role, you’ll be the face of L&D across our UK offices, spending much of your time out in the business delivering engaging, in-person training and supporting our existing programmes. You’ll work with colleagues at all levels to roll out inductions, mandatory training, soft skills and leadership development, ensuring our people have the knowledge and confidence they need to perform at their best. Building on an established L&D function you’ll focus on high-quality delivery, practical support and making learning accessible and relevant for everyone.

Job Requirements

  • Experience as a learning and development practitioner in a commercial, fast paced environment
  • Licenced Insights Practitioner
  • Strong track record of designing and delivering engaging face to face training (including inductions, mandatory training, Impact, soft skills and leadership development)
  • Confident, impactful presentation skills with the ability to adapt style to different audiences and levels
  • Proven ability to build relationships and partner with stakeholders across multiple offices and geographical locations
  • Comfortable spending regular time travelling to and working from offices across the UK
  • Strong coaching and mentoring skills, with the ability to support colleagues on their development plans
  • Good understanding of L&D tools, methods and evaluation, including measuring ROI on learning interventions
  • Experience using data and MI to track learning activity and outcomes, and to inform improvements
  • Knowledge of career development, succession planning and professional/mandatory qualification pathways
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities in a varied portfolio of programmes
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a collaborative, team focused approach
  • Confident using Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint and comfortable working with HR/L&D systems
  • Flexible, proactive and able to work on own initiative while contributing as part of the wider HR team

Job Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging training programmes, from induction to manager and leadership development
  • Work with leaders to roll out practical learning solutions that support business needs
  • Create and deliver face to face and online training, using external providers where needed
  • Champion a culture of continuous learning, coaching and development for all colleagues
  • Develop apprenticeship, graduate and clear career pathways, including succession planning
  • Manage inductions, mandatory training and professional/mandatory qualification requirements
  • Use data and MI to evaluate learning, demonstrate ROI and support engagement activity
  • Act as the main contact for L&D queries, CPD support and internal training communications
  • Build strong relationships with external training providers
  • Carry out other reasonable L&D duties to support the wider HR team
