We are looking for a highly capable, work-winning insolvency professional with strong case-management experience who is ready to step into a broader, more senior role. You will support and lead formal insolvency appointments, assist businesses facing financial and liquidity challenges, and help shape restructuring strategies under the guidance of senior directors. You will work across a variety of workstreams — including exposure to complex and occasional cross-border matters — while collaborating closely with colleagues across our restructuring and advisory service lines. You will also contribute to business development activity, assisting with tenders, nurturing referrer relationships, and preparing high-quality proposals. This role offers increased autonomy and visibility while still providing strong senior support as you continue to progress your career.
Job Requirements
- A qualified insolvency practitioner with experience within an insolvency and restructuring team, supported by a relevant appointment-taking qualification, and a strong ambition to continue building a trusted network of referrers.
- Ability to lead and manage an assignment ensuring effective deliverables with minimal supervision whilst mentoring and motivating fellow team members, experience in contributing to work streams.
- Experience of advising and working with operational and finance teams within distressed and loss-making entities and their other advisors.
- The desire and hunger to promote your own career to the next level through existing and future relationships with full support at board level.
- Previous experience of being responsible for ensuring quality control, managing recoveries, billings, career development and resource management.
- An entrepreneurial and ambitious mindset in your approach.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with diverse and complex stakeholder groups.
- A proven track record of securing and delivering significant assignments independently.
- Sector specific expertise in relevant industries.
- Experience working on cross border insolvency cases.
- Experience preparing and assessing long term financial forecasts, options reviews, and exit strategies for key stakeholders.
Job Responsibilities
- Take ownership of key workstreams on formal insolvency cases, contributing to the delivery of successful outcomes.
- Support businesses experiencing liquidity and financial challenges with practical restructuring input.
- Assist in developing and implementing tailored restructuring and insolvency strategies.
- Manage stakeholder interactions, including clients, employees, agents and solicitors.
- Work with senior directors across multiple assignments, including some complex or cross-border elements.
- Support AMA management from engagement through to completion.
- Collaborate with wider service lines, including restructuring and TTP teams.
- Lead new business tenders and help strengthen referrer relationships.
- Contribute to business development by preparing proposals and promoting the firm's services.
