Wharfedale House provides exceptional care and independent living in the heart of Wetherby, West Yorkshire. Our 18-bed care home is dedicated to providing care and support to individuals with physical disabilities, ensuring a comfortable and nurturing environment that feels just like home. Our experienced team of caregivers provides specialised physical support tailored to each resident's needs.
Your working hours
- 4 days, 30 hours per week - 7.5 hours per day
- 3 days, 22.5 hours per week, 7.5 hours per day
Rotas would be discussed with the Deputy Manager: one weekend on, one weekend off.

What you'll do
- Prepare, cook, and serve high-quality meals and beverages on time
- Plan varied, seasonal menus that meet nutritional and dietary needs
- Liaise with care teams and customers to create personalised menus
- Maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness in line with HACCP and COSHH regulations
- Manage food stocks, orders, and budgets effectively
- Supervise and support catering staff, including training and rota planning
- Provide catering for events, parties, and special occasions
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, safeguarding, and regulatory requirements

- Recognised catering qualification (or willingness to work towards this)
- Level 3 Food Hygiene Certificate (or Level 4) and HACCP accreditation
- Experience working in a kitchen environment
