A home with heart. As a Deputy Manager (Registered Nurse) with Leonard Cheshire, you will support the Service Manager in the day-to-day running of one of our care services in Hitchin, Symonds House, our 20-bed service. Both services provide high-quality, personalised support for adults with physical disabilities, learning difficulties, and complex needs.
Your working hours: This is a full-time role, working Monday - Friday 9am - 4:30pm, including a 30-minute unpaid break.
About the role: As Deputy Manager Registered Nurse, you will:
- Support the Service Manager and deputise in their absence
- Provide effective leadership, management, and supervision for a team of nurses and care staff
- Lead with passion and enthusiasm to ensure a well-run, compliant, and person-centred service
- Deliver high standards of nursing, clinical, and personal support
- Promote independence, choice, and positive outcomes for residents
- Ensure compliance with health and safety and all statutory obligations

- Current NMC registration as a Registered Nurse
