With its beautiful sea views, Appley Cliff is home for 13 adults with physical disabilities. Our home is in the popular seaside resort of Shanklin on the Isle of Wight. Our service feels like family – relaxed, supportive, and centred around the people who live here. Every day brings new moments to celebrate: from small wins in independence to big laughs over mealtimes.

Your working hours

We offer part‑time hours. You’ll need to be flexible to work across weekdays and weekends as part of a rota. Typical shifts may include:

  • Day shifts: e.g. 8:00 am – 2:00 pm, 2:00 pm – 8:00 pm, 3:00 pm – 9:00 pm
  • Night shifts: e.g. 8:00 pm – 8:00 am

  • Support with daily living tasks such as personal care, mealtimes, and medication
  • Encourage independence through a person‑centred approach
  • Accompany people to appointments, events, and community activities
  • Keep clear, accurate records
  • Most importantly – help each person live life on their own terms

No previous care experience? No problem – we’ll give you all the training you need.
