Join Our Team at Fryers House

We offer full-time, part-time, and occasional hours/bank available for day shifts. Day shift patterns are from 07:15 am to 19:15 pm.

*Night enhancement of £1.50 per hour applies from 8 pm to 7 am, Monday to Sunday (excluding sleep-ins). A weekend day enhancement of £2.00 per hour is paid from 7 am to 8 pm on Saturday and Sunday.

Our service is home to 24 adults with physical disabilities. Fryers House is located in Romsey, where we actively involve service users in their local community and participate in a wide range of activities using local resources. This service is rated Good by CQC.

Experience as a Care Assistant, Support Worker, or similar is desirable but not essential. We provide excellent training and induction programs for all staff!

As a Support Worker with Leonard Cheshire, you will become part of a fantastic team. Every day is different, but your duties will include:

  • Assisting with daily tasks such as personal care, medication, and mealtimes.
  • Escorting and assisting in and around the service, at external events, and appointments.
  • Supporting our Person-Centred approach, encouraging independence, and helping achieve individual aspirations.
  • Maintaining up-to-date and accurate records.
