A home, not just a service

Bradbury Wing is a 20‑bed care home located in the tranquil setting of Newcastle, surrounded by beautiful trees and nature. The home specialises in providing complex care for young adults with physical and learning disabilities. Residents here have access to advanced medical support, including PEG feeding and ventilators, tailored to individual needs.

We offer full‑time hours. You’ll need to be flexible to work across weekdays and weekends as part of a rota.

Typical shifts may include:

  • Day shifts: 8am – 8pm, 8am – 2pm, 2pm – 8pm

Enhanced pay: £1.00 per hour will only apply to night working (8pm Monday to 7am Friday) and weekend working (8pm Friday to 7am Monday). This does not apply to Sleep‑Ins.

  • Support with daily living tasks such as personal care, mealtimes, and medication
  • Encourage independence through a person‑centred approach
  • Accompany people to appointments, events, and community activities
  • Keep clear, accurate records
  • Most importantly – help each person live life on their own terms

No previous care experience? No problem – we’ll give you all the training you need.
