We are seeking a highly motivated individual to take on the role of Registered Nursing Home Manager in our reputable healthcare facility at Newlands House. Newlands House is rated "Good" by CQC and cares for 37 people with physical disabilities.

Responsibilities
- Provide clear direction, management and supervision of a great staff team. Lead with passion and enthusiasm to ensure your service is well run, and promote positive outcomes for disabled people with a flexible and proactive approach.
- Lead with clinical nursing experience; ensure the service is fully compliant regarding health and safety management and fulfil statutory obligations. Work within budgetary requirements and operate a financially sound service.
- Handle recruitment, ongoing training, development and performance needs of your staff, ensuring the achievement of national minimum care standard requirements. Hold registration for the service.
- As a member of the Leonard Cheshire management team, grow and develop professionally while enhancing your career as a care professional.
Qualifications
- A recognised nursing or social care qualification and registration (as appropriate to the needs of the service).
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care, or equivalent as required for registration.
- Substantial experience in managing care teams / supervisory or management experience in a care environment.
- Strong people and communication skills with excellent customer service.
- Thorough understanding of financial data and ability to manage budgets.
- Experience of a range of different departments i.e. therapies, transport, catering, administration, care and maintenance is advantageous.
- Valid NMC PIN (Nursing Pin).
