Leading Change, Strengthening Services
As a Regional Director for England, you'll take the lead across a portfolio of services, ensuring they are safe, high-quality, financially sustainable, and truly person-centred. You'll represent Leonard Cheshire across your region, building strong relationships with commissioners, partners, and sector leaders while empowering our Service Managers and Support Managers to deliver excellence every day. We're one of the UK's highest-rated providers of care and supported living services, with 87% of our services rated Good or Outstanding by regulators. With your leadership, we'll continue raising the bar.
Your Working Hours
Full Time - Monday to Friday, home-based with regular travel, overnight stays, and flexibility to meet operational needs.
You Will Be Responsible For:
- Providing strategic leadership across your allocated services - ensuring quality, compliance, financial performance, and continuous improvement.
- Supporting services across several locations in the South East, including Farnham, Godalming, Crawley, Sevenoaks, Tonbridge, Tunbridge Wells, and Colchester.
- Leading the implementation of Leonard Cheshire's strategic plans across your region.
- Driving high-quality, person-centred social care delivery.
- Providing inspirational leadership, coaching, and mentoring to managers.
- Monitoring performance and ensuring targets and KPIs are consistently achieved.
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and national frameworks.
- Addressing performance issues, risks, and serious incidents swiftly and effectively.
- Managing budgets, business plans, and regional P&L performance.
- Overseeing the modernisation and integration of new systems and operational models.
- Strengthening external partnerships and negotiating effectively with commissioners.
- Promoting Leonard Cheshire's reputation and influence within your region.
- Ensuring services deliver on all commercial and quality objectives.

Your Expertise and Experience
- Extensive experience leading multi-site social care operations.
- Proven ability to deliver financial, quality, and performance outcomes.

- Experience managing large budgets through P&L accountability.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Confident, collaborative leadership style with resilience and empathy.
- Ability to travel regionally and nationally, including overnight stays.
