A home with heart
As Deputy Manager Registered Nurse with Leonard Cheshire, you will support the Service Manager in running Seven Rivers, a residential home with nursing support in Colchester for up to 29 adults with disabilities. You’ll help the home run smoothly, make sure residents get high-quality, person-centred care, and lead a team of nurses and care staff with confidence and care.

Your working hours
This is a full-time role, working Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm, including the expectation of covering nursing shifts as required.
About the role
- Support the Service Manager and deputise in their absence
- Provide effective leadership, management, and supervision for a team of nurses and care staff
- Lead with passion and enthusiasm to ensure a well-run, compliant, and person-centred service
- Deliver high standards of nursing, clinical, and personal support
- Promote independence, choice, and positive outcomes for residents
- Ensure compliance with health and safety and all statutory obligations

- Current NMC registration as a Registered Nurse
- A level of professional development and registration (may include Level 5 Leadership in Health and Social Care)

- Due to the rural location, you will need to have your own transport available
