About the Role As a Senior Building Surveyor, you'll manage your own portfolio of properties across England, including domestic and healthcare settings. You'll balance hands-on surveying and inspection work with the strategic delivery of maintenance, compliance, and capital projects. What You'll Be Doing With significant autonomy and variety in your day-to-day work, you'll: Conduct building surveys and pathology inspections across domestic and healthcare properties Diagnose building defects and produce detailed reports Prepare and manage planned preventative maintenance (PPM) schedules and budgets Project manage capital works projects from inception through to completion Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, with particular focus on fire safety and building compliance Work closely with Maintenance Coordinators and Service Managers to deliver effective maintenance solutions Manage contractor performance and quality standards Sign off completed works on-site Build strong relationships with contractors and key stakeholders Provide regular progress updates on projects and maintenance activities What We're Looking For Experience managing multiple projects across social housing, social care, healthcare, or similar environments Knowledge of building regulations, statutory and healthcare sector-specific compliance, health
