A kitchen with a purpose

Our Newlands House supports adults with learning disabilities and additional needs to live their lives their way. The kitchen is the heart of our home – where we prepare and serve nutritious meals that bring people together.

We offer occasional hours. This is to support the business, covering sickness and holidays… Though most weeks we have hours available, so if you want to top up your income this could be the perfect choice for you.

Typical shifts may include

Day shifts: 7am – 7pm

  • Deliver a varied, healthy, and nutritionally balanced menu, meeting specific dietary requirements
  • Run an efficient kitchen within budget
  • Supervise and support kitchen staff in food preparation
  • Maintain exceptional hygiene and cleanliness in line with Health & Safety regulations
  • Get creative providing catering for events and special occasions
  • Make a positive impact on residents’ lives through your meals
