This is a high-impact, senior individual contributor role where you'll partner with executive leaders, providing commercially focused financial insight that influences investment decisions, operational performance and long-term sustainability.
You'll combine commercial thinking, advanced financial modelling and business partnering expertise to support strategic planning across a diverse operational portfolio.
What you'll be doing You'll work closely with senior operational and executive stakeholders to provide forward-looking financial insight that drives better decision-making.
Your responsibilities will include: Acting as a trusted finance business partner to senior leaders across the organisation.
Delivering strategic financial analysis, scenario modelling and investment appraisals.
Leading budgeting, forecasting and long-range financial planning for your portfolio.
Developing robust financial models based on operational and commercial drivers.
Producing insightful performance reporting with clear recommendations and actions.
Building business cases to support growth, investment and service transformation.
Using Power BI and modern FP&A tools to improve reporting and decision support.
Supporting pricing decisions, financial sustainability and continuous improvement initiatives.
Mentoring colleagues and contributing to the ongoing development of the FP&A function.
About you We're looking for a commercially minded finance professional who enjoys influencing decisions and partnering with senior stakeholders with the following skills/experience CIMA, ACCA or ACA qualification (or equivalent).
Post-qualified experience in FP&A, commercial finance or finance business partnering.
Strong financial modelling and scenario planning experience.
Advanced Excel skills Experience with Power BI and ERP systems such as Microsoft Dynamics or similar.
Interest in modern FP&A tools, automation, and AI-driven insights (Datarails is advantageous) The ability to communicate complex financial information clearly to non-finance audiences.
A proactive, strategic approach with excellent stakeholder management skills.
Experience within complex, operational or service-led organisations.
Experience within health, social care, charity or public sector organisations would be advantageous but is not essential.
