Leonard Brothers Veterinary Centre, an established 3-branch small animal practice, offers an exciting opportunity for a dedicated RVN to join their Whitchurch team on a part-time basis.

Our new, spacious, well-equipped facility provides a friendly, welcoming environment. We have on-site parking and are within walking distance of the train station.

Our supportive team includes 6 Veterinary Surgeons, 8 Registered Veterinary Nurses, 2 Student Veterinary Nurses, and 5 experienced Receptionists and administrators. We pride ourselves on delivering exceptional care, supported by certificate holders in Surgery, Medicine, Cardiology, and ECC. We foster a friendly, collaborative atmosphere that encourages skill development and professional growth.

The role

As an RVN, your responsibilities will encompass all aspects of first opinion nursing, including nurse clinics, anesthetic monitoring, inpatient care, medication administration, x-rays, and diagnostic testing, utilising your Schedule 3 skills. While general assistance is expected across all areas, we support and encourage individual nursing interests. We value enthusiasm, commitment, and a proactive team spirit, aiming to maintain high standards of veterinary nursing care.

Working pattern

This part-time role involves 24 hours per week over 3 days, with shifts typically between 08:30 and 18:30. The specific days are flexible based on your preferences. Additionally, there is a 1-in-7 Saturday morning rota (09:00-12:30), scheduled annually with swap options among team members.
