Leon Cycle is an e-bike business that was established in Germany in 2014 and has since developed business operations in over 10 countries across Europe, North America and APAC. Leon Cycle offers a range of e-bike models from mountain bikes, folding e-bikes, trekking e-bikes and step thru e-bikes. Our range of products are sold via both our own online website as well as E-Commerce platforms and via our dealers and our own retail stores worldwide.
With strong growth and expansions in place, we are now seeking a Global Demand Planning Manager to join us based in London. This role will include but not be limited to:
- Head up and manage Master planning, Demand Planning in Europe and North America, Production Planning for manufacturing/assembly facilities in Europe.
- Ensure that supply and demand planning are accurate, working very closely with the logistics department to ensure on-time delivery of both finished goods and parts/components and reflects the amount of inventory that is needed by our businesses to grow.
- Utilizing Excel, ensuring accuracy and changes in planning are updated in a timely manner.
- Frequently liaising with our logistics and warehouse team in London, purchasing team as well as R&D and manufacturing business leaders and departments.
- Follow up and ensure production on schedule, materials on schedule and our facilities can deliver finished goods on schedule.
- Formulate weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual planning schedules in accordance with sales needs and company goals and objectives.
Ideally you will have:
- 8-10 years of supply chain planning experience with a product that requires assembling and multiple hundreds of SKUs of spare parts and components.
- Expert Excel skills.
- Experience working with and managing overseas OEM factories.
- A background working in both MNC as well as Chinese companies.
- Excellent English spoken and written ability.
- Ability to manage and set up a team and also be very hands-on.
- Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate with different stakeholders.
- Able to work frequent overtime due to time difference and business operations abroad.
- Strong character, able to drive and manage upper management as well as firmly push subordinates to deliver results.
- Overseas working/study/living abroad experience highly regarded.
- Full Time degree in Supply Chain Management.
