Leon Cycle is an e-bike business that was established in Germany in 2014 and has since developed business operations in over 10 countries across Europe, North America and APAC. Leon Cycle offers a range of e-bike models from mountain bikes, folding e-bikes, trekking e-bikes and step thru e-bikes. Our range of products are sold via both our own online website as well as E-Commerce platforms and via our dealers and our own retail stores worldwide.
With strong growth and expansions in place, we are now seeking a Human Resources Manager to join us based in new global HQ in London.
The role of our Human Resources Manager will include but not be limited to:
- Per request from CEO, support in the search and recruitment of sales Directors and Managers in EU and North America, also Finance, Supply Chain, E-commerce and marketing global team in London.
- Conducting initial research and screening, initial interviews, assist in the scheduling of follow up video interviews between shortlisted candidates with CEO.
- Support in HR general duties such as the onboarding and exit of employees, holidays and leave records and approval process, contract signing and updates, employee record filing and keeping.
- Manage employee relations and maintain positive vibe and atmosphere within the organization.
- Provide PPT and Excel reporting to CEO on HR matters, such as headcount costs and forecast, headcount planning and monitor KPI performance.
- Deal with any local HR issues and escalations (insurance, workers compensation, workers union, dismissal and termination, disputes).
- Create and manage performance/talent management initiatives.
- Ensuring global teams are on tasks and achieving KPIs and company goals in a timely manner.
- Creating employee handbooks and training material for global operations.
- Other HR related matters as and when needed by local team in the UK, Europe and North America.
Requirements:
- 6-10 years of HR Manager and recruitment experience in a retail, consumer goods, sporting goods industry.
- Chinese Mandarin language fluency and English fluency is mandatory.
- Great people skills, interpersonal skills and communication skills.
- Very hands on and can work with minimal supervision.
- Understand UK and EU HR regulations and labor laws.
- Strong flexibility and adaptable to change.
- Previous experience working in a very fast pace environment.
- Must be legally entitled to work for any employer in the UK (Citizen, PR, Valid Permits, etc.) prior to employment.
