We are currently recruiting for a full-time permanent Optometrist to join a well-established and supportive optical team. This is an excellent opportunity for an Optometrist who is passionate about delivering outstanding patient care and developing their clinical skills within a professional environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive eye examinations
- Deliver contact lens assessments and aftercare
- Provide extended clinical services and patient management
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure high clinical standards
- Offer excellent customer service and patient care
- Work closely with the wider optical team to ensure smooth daily operations
Team Development:
- Support and mentor colleagues where required
- Help maintain a positive and collaborative team culture
- Contribute ideas to improve patient experience and clinical services
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities
About You:
- Fully qualified and GOC registered Optometrist
- Registered on the NHS Performer List
- Passionate about delivering exceptional patient care
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Keen to continue developing clinically and professionally
- MECs/WECs accredited or willing to gain accreditation
