Job Summary: We are looking for a passionate Optometrist to join a growing and supportive team delivering high-quality eye care services across Plymouth and the surrounding areas. This role offers the opportunity to provide patient-focused care using the latest mobile technology and equipment, while enjoying flexibility, autonomy, and excellent work-life balance with no weekend work required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out comprehensive eye examinations for patients
  • Provide clinically excellent care and build strong patient relationships
  • Manage approximately 6-7 patient appointments per day
  • Use advanced equipment including digital fundus cameras, slit lamps, and tonometers
  • Maintain accurate digital patient records
  • Work independently while having ongoing support from a senior clinical team
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and patient care at all times

  • Participate in ongoing professional development and CPD
  • Receive support towards higher qualifications and professional certificates
  • Work collaboratively with an experienced and supportive clinical team

About You:

  • GOC registered Optometrist
  • Strong clinical and communication skills

  • Comfortable working independently and making clinical decisions
  • Full UK driving licence required
