Salary: Up to £64,000 + Monthly Commission + Company Car

Working Pattern: 4 or 5 days per week - No weekends

Job Summary: An exciting opportunity has arisen for a passionate and patient-focused Optometrist to join a leading provider of domiciliary optical care. This role offers the chance to deliver clinically excellent eye care directly within patients' homes across Nottingham and the surrounding East Midlands area. You will play a vital role in improving accessibility to eye care services for patients who are unable to attend appointments independently. Working with industry-leading mobile equipment and supported by a highly experienced clinical team, you will provide exceptional care while enjoying true work-life balance with no weekend working.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive eye examinations within patients' homes.
  • Deliver outstanding patient care with longer appointment times of approximately one hour per patient.
  • Manage approximately 6-7 patient visits per day.
  • Use advanced mobile optical equipment including digital fundus cameras, slit lamps, and I-care tonometers.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed digital patient records using the company's paperless system.
  • Provide professional recommendations and referrals where appropriate.
  • Work autonomously while maintaining close communication with the senior optometrist support team.
  • Ensure all clinical and professional standards are met in line with GOC guidelines.

Team Development:

  • Participate in ongoing CPD and professional development opportunities.
  • Receive support towards College of Optometrists Higher Qualifications and Professional Certificates.
  • Work collaboratively with the wider clinical and operational teams.

About You:

  • Qualified Optometrist registered with the GOC.
  • Full UK driving licence.
