Job Summary: An exciting opportunity has arisen for a qualified Optometrist to join a well-established and highly respected eye care provider based in Lakeside. The successful candidate will work within a multi-disciplinary clinical team delivering exceptional patient care across a range of refractive, cataract, and general ophthalmic services. This role offers the chance to work alongside experienced ophthalmologists and eye care professionals while utilising advanced clinical technology and developing specialist skills in surgical eye care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct pre-operative and post-operative consultations for refractive and cataract surgery patients.
- Provide clinical support to ophthalmologists and the wider clinical team.
- Deliver comprehensive eye examinations, including Essential and Advanced Eye Tests.
- Assess patients' visual needs and provide professional clinical recommendations.
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure high clinical standards are met at all times.
- Deliver outstanding patient care and ensure an excellent patient experience throughout the treatment journey.
- Work collaboratively within a fast-paced clinical environment.
Team Development:
- Support and contribute to a positive and collaborative team culture.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and clinical training opportunities.
- Engage with Continuous Education and Training (CET) programmes.
- Assist in maintaining best clinical practice standards across the clinic.
About You:
- GOC Registered Optometrist with a minimum of 2 years' post-registration experience.
