LEO School, a UK-based online international school, is looking for a Business / Economics Teacher to join our growing team. Please note: we are only considering applicants who are UK-based or hold a UK-recognised teaching qualification, and who already have experience teaching the Cambridge / British curriculum. Applications without relevant UK qualification or Cambridge/British curriculum experience will not be considered.

About the role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Business / Economics Teacher to deliver high-quality online lessons across IGCSE and A Level.

Essential requirements

  • UK-based teacher or holder of a UK-recognised teaching qualification
  • Proven experience teaching the Cambridge / British curriculum
  • Strong subject knowledge in Business and/or Economics
  • Experience teaching IGCSE and A Level
  • Confidence in delivering lessons online
  • Excellent spoken and written English
  • Strong communication, organisation, and classroom management skills
  • Confidence using online platforms and digital teaching tools
  • Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)

Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging and well-structured online Business and/or Economics lessons
  • Teach in line with the Cambridge / British curriculum
  • Plan, prepare and adapt lessons to meet students’ needs
  • Support student progress through clear teaching, feedback, and academic monitoring
  • Maintain high professional standards in communication and lesson delivery
  • Keep up to date with curriculum developments and exam requirements
