What the Industrial Refrigeration Engineer Will Do:
- This is a hands-on, field-based role where you'll take ownership of servicing, maintaining and commissioning industrial refrigeration systems, acting as the technical expert on-site.
- Service, maintain, repair and commission industrial refrigeration and air conditioning systems
- Diagnose and resolve complex faults across mechanical and electrical components
- Carry out on-site installations and commissioning to required standards
- Produce detailed technical reports and complete documentation for invoicing
- Supervise and support junior engineers and apprentices on-site
- Ensure full compliance with health & safety regulations and quality standards
The Environment & What You Need:
- This role is suited to an experienced engineer who is confident working on industrial systems and comfortable taking ownership on-site.
- Minimum 5 years experience in industrial refrigeration
- Strong experience working with Ammonia refrigeration systems (essential)
- Proven fault-finding skills across mechanical and electrical systems
