We are seeking an experienced Industrial Refrigeration Engineer (with their Ammonia certificate) to be the expert on-site for diagnosing, servicing, maintaining, and commissioning Industrial Refrigeration systems. This is a hands-on, technically challenging role involving both mechanical and electrical work, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and safety compliance.

You will be working for a very well-established Industrial Refrigeration company, covering mainly the central block of Scotland.

Salary: £48-50,000 per annum basic salary. If you’re a skilled Industrial Refrigeration Engineer looking for an excellent package where you’ll take home £60,000 minimum per year for just driving to work, PLUS overtime! Your OTE (on target earnings) will be around £75,000+ per annum (paid door to door, standby payments and overtime) with career support, training, and a great work-life balance.

What you’ll be doing as Industrial Refrigeration Engineer:

  • Perform service, maintenance, repair, and commissioning of refrigeration and air conditioning systems.
  • Carry out on-site installation and commissioning to meet required standards.
  • Produce detailed technical reports and complete timesheets to support timely invoicing.
  • Supervise and train junior engineers/apprentices on-site.
  • Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations and company quality standards.

What we’re looking for in an Industrial Refrigeration Engineer:

  • At least 5 years experience in servicing, installing, and performing mechanical and electrical work on industrial refrigeration systems.
  • Strong fault-finding skills and experience working with Ammonia refrigerant is essential.
