What the Technical Lead Will Do:

  • Provide technical leadership across design, development and delivery
  • Remain hands-on, contributing to development and solving complex problems
  • Drive architectural decisions and promote best practices across the team
  • Champion code quality, testing, security and performance
  • Lead the development of cloud-native, microservices-based solutions
  • Mentor and support developers, encouraging knowledge sharing and growth
  • Collaborate with Product, Architecture and DevOps teams

  • Support CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation
  • Produce clear technical documentation and architectural designs

  • Strong experience building solutions on AWS, including AWS CDK
  • Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code and automated deployments
  • Strong understanding of microservices architecture and cloud-native design
  • Experience building secure, scalable and observable systems
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and modern DevOps practices
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to break down complex challenges
  • Experience mentoring developers and leading technical delivery
  • Comfortable working within Agile environments
  • Strong communication skills and ability to align technical solutions with business goals
  • Any experience within payments or banking systems would be advantageous
