What the Full Stack Developer Will Do:
As a Full Stack Developer, you’ll work closely with engineers, product teams and stakeholders to design, build and maintain modern software solutions. You’ll contribute across the full development lifecycle, helping to create scalable, reliable systems used by organisations across the UK.
- Develop scalable backend services and modern web and mobile frontends
- Work with cloud-native infrastructure and microservices architectures
- Contribute to automated testing including unit, integration and end-to-end tests
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prioritise and deliver features
- Support CI/CD pipelines and continuous delivery practices
- Contribute to improving engineering standards, performance and reliability
The Technology Environment & What You Need:
The engineering team works within a modern, cloud-native technology stack designed to support scalable, high-performance applications. They’re looking for a collaborative Full Stack Developer who enjoys solving problems and building reliable systems within a fast-paced product environment.
- Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure built on AWS using Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
- Good understanding of microservices architecture
- Experience with frontend frameworks and cross-platform web/mobile technologies
- Good understanding of CI/CD pipelines supporting continuous integration and delivery
- Experience with automated testing (unit, integration and end-to-end)
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
- Experience with AWS CDK, Terraform or similar technologies would be particularly beneficial
