The Opportunity:
If you’re a hands-on QA Test Engineer who likes improving quality rather than just running through test scripts, this role offers autonomy, influence and responsibility. You’ll be working closely with the development team, testing a suite of web-based applications and making sure issues are picked up early and handled properly. It’s a role that suits someone who’s comfortable working independently, using their own judgement, and taking ownership rather than needing constant direction.
The role is with an established tech business that’s still growing and investing in its products and people. They design and deliver voice and data solutions over their own network. Their customers include healthcare organisations and government agencies, so reliability and quality are critical to what they do.
Why This Role Stands Out:
- Basic annual salary £35,000 - £40,000 p.a. (possibly negotiable depending on experience)
- 10% company bonus to celebrate your hard work
- Remote working (1 day per month in the office) or based in Dorset (hybrid)
- Career progression opportunities
- 21 days holiday plus bank holidays, plus 3-4 extra days off at Xmas (discretionary), plus birthday off
- Free parking and a cycle-to-work scheme
- Subsidised gym membership to support your wellbeing
- Smart-casual dress code for a relaxed work environment
- Structured training and development opportunities to help you grow
- Supportive, team-focused culture that values your ideas and achievements
