What you’ll be doing:
  • Developing and maintaining Android applications using Kotlin, applying the latest Android SDK features.
  • Using dependency injection frameworks such as HILT to ensure scalability and maintainability.
  • Building dynamic and engaging UIs with Jetpack Compose, ensuring apps are reliable through robust testing.
  • Contributing to CI/CD pipelines, code reviews, and keeping up to date with the latest Android developments.
  • (If you have iOS and/or React Native development skills) Supporting cross-platform development and helping the team explore opportunities to extend the app beyond Android.
What we’re looking for:
  • At least 5 years’ experience in Android development with a strong background in Kotlin.
  • Proficiency in building complex UIs with HILT and using testing frameworks such as Browserstack.
  • Experience with API integration and Android SDK features.
  • Practical knowledge of dependency injection methods.
  • A self-starter who enjoys solving problems and working effectively in a distributed team environment.
  • Experience in financial services is desirable.
  • Additional cross-platform iOS and/or React Native development experience is highly advantageous.

Fully remote – open to candidates based anywhere in the UK. Flexible working hours – the company operates a trust-based model, but commitment is especially important during the launch phase of development.
