The Role: Senior Infrastructure Engineer: As a Senior Infrastructure Engineer, you will lead intricate cloud migrations and digital transformation projects for both SMEs and Enterprise-level clients. You will be responsible for planning and organising workloads and meticulously executing assignments while ensuring adherence to established standards and procedures. You will demonstrate expert proficiency across multiple technology domains while serving as a senior team member, technical escalation point, and providing mentoring to junior colleagues. To Be Successful It will be essential to have extensive hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure, including complex cloud migrations and digital transformation across multi-server environments. You should come from a strong background in an MSP (Managed Service Provider) environment. You’ll need to have in-depth expertise in Microsoft Azure technologies and services, including Azure Virtual Desktop or equivalent VDI/Session-based technologies (Citrix, VMware Horizon). Your knowledge of Microsoft 365, security, compliance, and identity management should be exceptional. You should have a solid understanding of virtualisation technologies (ideally VMware) and backup technologies (Veeam or similar). You must have a valid driving license for travel to customer sites. Location: This role is available on a remote working basis, however due to the location of the company’s customers, will need to live within 3 hours commutable distance from Dorset. From time to time, you will be required to attend the office and at client sites, and the company will make accommodation arrangements in these instances. Working Hours: Monday to Friday 9:00 am to 5:30 pm, with some flexibility available.
