Your Role: We are looking for an experienced and commercially astute Regional Health Outcomes Manager (East and West Midlands) to deliver our market access objectives across a diverse and innovative portfolio, by building trusted partnerships with NHS decision-makers and payers to ensure rapid, sustained access to LEO brands. You will be the regional expert and driver of market access, ensuring our medicines are available, funded and prescribed for patients who need them.
Key responsibilities include:
- Achieving Market Access Targets
- Driving inclusion of LEO brands on local and regional formularies and clinical guidelines in line with account and brand strategies.
- Securing funding and freedom to prescribe via local pull-through of national approvals.
- Partnering with commercial teams to shape impactful product launch strategies at a regional level.
- Ensuring a high value-based perception of LEO products among payers and influencers.
Developing & Delivering Regional Access Plans
- Mapping, establishing and maintaining a network of stakeholders influencing prescribing and funding decisions - from medicines management and high-cost drug leads to private dermatology providers.
- Aligning LEO business strategies to the local NHS health economy’s priorities, service plans and commissioning pathways.
- Using tailored value propositions, evidence and health economic tools to overcome access barriers.
- Monitoring local market intelligence, guidelines and policy to anticipate and respond to change.
Building Strategic Partnerships
- Establishing and maintaining influential relationships with commissioners, formulary committee members, key opinion leaders (KOLs) and other health economy stakeholders.
- Positioning LEO Pharma as a thought partner to the NHS by delivering value beyond medicine, proposing solutions that benefit patients, the healthcare system and LEO.
- Representing LEO at relevant local and national conferences, forums and network meetings.
Collaborating for Success
- Collaborating closely with account managers and the cross-functional matrix team on coordinated action plans.
- Sharing local insights to inform national strategy, anticipate risks and identify opportunities.
- Ensuring all activities are carried out within budget and in line with compliance standards.
Key Working Relationships
You will work hand‑in‑hand with influential NHS stakeholders and partner closely with our experts in Market Access, Marketing, Sales, Medical, Legal, and beyond to make a real impact for patients.
Your Qualifications
- Degree educated or equivalent by experience, with the ability to understand and effectively communicate scientific information.
- Proven track record in building partnerships with healthcare decision-makers to secure patient access.
- Robust understanding of UK NHS structures, funding pathways, and policy application at local level.
- Experience in market access, preferably with biologics or high-cost specialist medicines.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and influencing skills.
- Commercially astute, strategic thinker, and creative problem solver.
- Skilled at building and managing complex relationships to achieve results.
- Team player with the ability to adapt and pivot in complex environments.
- ABPI qualified (or willing to gain) with full UK driving licence.
