Leo Group is one of the UK’s leading specialists in animal by-products and renewable energy. We play a critical role in the food and agricultural industries collecting and processing material – which is converted into meals and oils for use in pet food, cosmetics, chemicals, and renewable fuel. As we continue to grow and develop our operations, we are looking for operators. This is a great opportunity for individuals that are hardworking and keen to be part of an existing business that continues to grow.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for production by overseeing and controlling the process and completing required checks and documentation to ensure quality and efficiency are achieved.
  • Support the running of production lines safely to produce top quality products.
  • Report safety issues.
  • Monitoring and operating biomass plant equipment.
  • Responsible for accurate product/package/code changes.
  • Perform specified cleaning tasks as per daily/monthly schedules.
  • Contributes to ensuring a quality product is delivered to the consumer/customer on time.

Full training will be provided (previous experience in a power plant will be an advantage).

Work schedule

  • 12-hour shifts.
  • Shift work from Monday to Sunday.
  • Day and Night shift mandatory.

Starting rate will be £15 per hour with an hourly increase after 12 week probation.
