WEEKDAY RATE - OVER £200 PER DAY! PLEASE DO NOT APPLY IF YOU ARE NOT LOCATED WITHIN THE CUMBRIA AREA. NO TRAMPING AVAILABLE. We are looking for night drivers. To provide excellent service to the company, group, customers and suppliers through the delivery and collection of ABP products from across the country in a safe and compliant manner, adhering to all traffic regulation, industry standards and road safety.
Main duties and responsibilities
- To drive class 1 vehicles transporting product between group and customer sites
- To complete all paperwork comprehensively and on time to comply with regulations
- To manage time effectively to ensure jobs are completed within the allocated timeframe
- To maintain a safe vehicle through comprehensive reporting of defects and issues in the correct manner to the right departments
Qualifications Experience Essential
- HGV/LGV Class 1 licence
- Experience of driving in the UK
- Full CPC and digi-tacho card
- Good understanding of driver’s hours and working time
- Ability to complete paperwork
