Job Description

We're looking for an experienced Solution Consultant - Finance to help prospective clients understand how Embridge Consulting and Unit4 solutions can support their business transformation goals.

This is a hands-on, client-facing role where you'll use your finance systems expertise to support sales campaigns, bids, demonstrations and procurement responses. You'll play a key role in understanding client challenges, shaping the right solution and helping demonstrate the value of our services and technology partners.

You'll bring strong ERP and finance systems knowledge, a consultative approach and the confidence to communicate complex information clearly to a wide range of stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities Include

  • Understanding client business challenges and demonstrating how Embridge Consulting and Unit4 solutions can help solve them.
  • Researching and discovering client goals, needs and pain points to shape the most appropriate solution.
  • Acting as the client's voice throughout the sales process, challenging where needed and ensuring responses are aligned to their requirements.
  • Supporting key sales activities including business cases, discovery, demos, RFPs, ITTs, demo preparation and demo environments.
  • Working closely with Professional Services to support smooth handovers and collaborating with our partner ecosystem.
  • Delivering public and client webinars, onsite demonstrations and solution presentations.
  • Providing feedback to Professional Services and Product Development to help improve solutions and delivery.
  • Helping clients build confidence in their future solution and supporting them in achieving their desired outcomes.
  • Demonstrating the value of Unit4 solutions and clearly explaining what differentiates them in the marketplace.
  • Carrying out any other reasonable duties required by the Chief Commercial Officer.

Key Skills And Experience Include

  • Experience working with ERP solutions, ideally in a SaaS environment.
  • Strong understanding of finance modules within ERP or best-of-breed finance systems.
  • Knowledge of Unit4 solutions, particularly Unit4 ERP, would be advantageous.
  • In-depth knowledge of finance systems, with Unit4 experience preferred.
  • A trusted advisor approach, with the ability to guide clients and colleagues with confidence.
  • A technology-driven mindset and a focus on finding the best possible solutions for clients.
  • The ability to communicate complex or technical information clearly and simply.
  • Strong writing, presentation and negotiation skills.
  • The ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
  • A positive attitude, strong work ethic and focus on successful outcomes.

  • Experienced in ERP and finance software solutions, ideally within a SaaS environment.
  • A trusted advisor who can build credibility, challenge thinking, and guide clients towards the right solution.
  • An excellent communicator with strong presentation, demonstration and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Commercially aware, proactive and motivated by helping win new business opportunities.
  • Comfortable managing multiple priorities while maintaining a high standard of work.
  • Knowledge of Unit4 ERP or similar enterprise finance solutions would be advantageous.
