An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Project Quantity Surveyor to join a well-established and highly respected regional main contractor. This role offers a clear and structured pathway to Senior Quantity Surveyor, alongside the chance to take full commercial ownership of a diverse portfolio of projects. Working across sectors including Healthcare, Education, Commercial, and Residential, you will be involved in delivering high-value schemes.
The Role
- Reporting into the Commercial Manager, you will be responsible for the full commercial lifecycle of projects from procurement through to final account.
- Key responsibilities include:
- Managing the commercial delivery of multiple construction projects
- Producing monthly CVRs, cost reports, and financial forecasts
- Administering subcontractor packages, including procurement and payments
- Managing variations, claims, and final accounts
- Issuing and managing contractual notices
- Ensuring projects are delivered within budget and margin targets
About You
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor / Project QS with a Main Contractor
- Strong ability to manage multiple projects or packages simultaneously
- Experience across sectors such as Healthcare, Education, Commercial, or Residential (desirable)
- Solid contractual knowledge and strong negotiation skills
- Degree or HND in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline
