Overview What You\’ll Be Doing: We\’re looking for a new Head of Social to lead a growing social offering at the heart of Leo Burnett, made up of Social, Editorial and Comms Planning specialists. Your job will unlock best-in-class social-first creativity across some of the biggest and most creatively exciting accounts in the industry – from McDonald\’s, to Kellogg\’s to Morrisons. Specifically… You\’ll be a hands-on practitioner – able to inspire and lead the creation of integrated campaigns that have social at the heart, working side-by-side with creatives, planners and cross-agency teams to deliver best-in-class creativity. You\’ll also be able to set a clear social vision across all of our brands. You\’ll be Social champion – able to lead and inspire a team of social strategists to do their best work. You\’ll not only lead your own team, but represent them in front of the wider agency and industry. You\’ll be a thought leader – able to work with others in the agency to define a POV on what Social is about at Leo\’s, and how it links to our broader proposition of \”Populist Creativity\”. You\’ll be comfortable representing this POV at an industry-level. You\’ll be a collaborator – able to work with anyone to make their ideas more social first. You\’ll be leading your own work, but also helping to elevate and push other people\’s work into a more social direction. Responsibilities What Key Skills We\’re After: Deep social understanding and expertise – you\’ll be the authority on social-first thinking and creativity in the agency. Creative instinct – we\’re looking for a creative planner at heart, someone who is most comfortable and excited around the work. Leadership – you\’ll be in charge of a (growing) team of 3 to 4 strategists, and lead the growth of social in the agency.
