We are looking for a Finance Officer to join Lentells Ltd and play a key role in supporting the smooth financial running of the business. Reporting to the Administration Director, you will be involved in the day-to-day finance operations as well as contributing to month-end, year-end and longer-term financial planning. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys variety, takes pride in accuracy, and likes being part of a supportive, collaborative team.
What you’ll be doing:
- Processing client payments onto the client relationship system
- Processing client disbursements onto the client relationship software, working closely with other team members
- Completing weekend and month-end reconciliations
- Maintaining Sage purchase and sales ledgers
- Sending invoices for approval
- Uploading payments to the bank for approval
- Carrying out weekly Sage bank reconciliations
- Managing petty cash reconciliation (monthly)
- Preparing and updating cash flow forecasts
- Producing VAT returns for approval and submission
- Preparing monthly management accounts on Sage
- Assisting with annual accounts preparation
- Supporting annual budget preparation in conjunction with the Directors
- Processing quarterly corporation tax payments
- Handling client refunds when required
- Supporting the business with ad-hoc finance and administrative tasks as needed

Experience using Sage, an AAT Level 4 qualification, and confidence with reconciliations, VAT and management accounts will be important, but attitude and approach matter just as much as technical ability.
