Job Type: Full Time | Office-based

We are looking for a Finance Officer to join Lentells Ltd and play a key role in supporting the smooth financial running of the business. Reporting to the Administration Director, you will be involved in the day-to-day finance operations as well as contributing to month-end, year-end and longer-term financial planning. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys variety, takes pride in accuracy, and likes being part of a supportive, collaborative team.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Processing client payments onto the client relationship system
  • Processing client disbursements onto the client relationship software, working closely with other team members
  • Completing weekend and month-end reconciliations
  • Maintaining Sage purchase and sales ledgers
  • Sending invoices for approval
  • Uploading payments to the bank for approval
  • Carrying out weekly Sage bank reconciliations
  • Managing petty cash reconciliation (monthly)
  • Preparing and updating cash flow forecasts
  • Producing VAT returns for approval and submission
  • Preparing monthly management accounts on Sage
  • Assisting with annual accounts preparation
  • Supporting annual budget preparation in conjunction with the Directors
  • Processing quarterly corporation tax payments
  • Handling client refunds when required
  • Supporting the business with ad-hoc finance and administrative tasks as needed
