Are you a detail-driven finance professional with a passion for helping businesses thrive? Lentells Ltd is looking for a proactive and personable Bookkeeper to join our dynamic team and support our clients with top-tier bookkeeping services on a fixed term contract from January 2026.

The Role
As a Bookkeeper, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring our clients’ financial records are accurate, compliant, and up to date. You’ll be the go-to person for day-to-day bookkeeping, working closely with clients and HMRC to keep everything running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain day-to-day bookkeeping for a variety of clients
- Prepare and submit VAT returns
- Manage purchase and sales ledgers (invoices, credit notes, bills)
- Input data from manual records (bank statements, invoices)
- Perform bank reconciliations
- Liaise with clients and HMRC regarding queries
- Process client payroll accurately and on time
- Assist clients with bookkeeping queries and missing information
- Set up and support QBO accounts; provide training if needed
- Maintain organised and accurate records
- Provide ad‑hoc support as required
