We are seeking a caring, enthusiastic and dedicated Level 3 Practitioner to join our team working in Nursery and in our outdoor learning provision. In this rewarding role, you will help deliver high-quality care and education for young children, supporting their learning and development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) as well as providing outdoor learning education for pupils with SEMH.
The role includes acting as a key person for a group of children, supporting their individual needs, working in partnership with parents and contributing to planning, assessment and daily nursery routines.
Hours: 8.15am to 3.30pm Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday; 8.15am to 4pm Tuesdays (for training); 39 weeks per year, to include all INSET and Academy days.
You will:
- Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills with evidence of effective team working
- Be an effective practitioner with the ability and desire to improve their practice
- Have high expectations of yourself and others
- Have a proven record of working in a nursery/EYFS environment
- Be highly organised, motivated and flexible with the ability to inspire and challenge children
- Be able to promote the vision and values of the school, demonstrating high professional standards
- Have a recognised Level 3 qualification in childcare
- Have outdoor learning experience and hold a qualification in outdoor education (or be willing to train in outdoor learning)
