Role Overview

As our Procurement Specialist – Contact Lenses, you\’ll play a critical role in ensuring timely and accurate procurement of contact lens products across the EMEA region. You\’ll manage bulk and urgent purchase orders, coordinate with vendors and internal teams, and maintain delivery commitments to support service level objectives. This is a 12-month fixed-term assignment based in London, offering you the chance to make a measurable impact in a dynamic, collaborative environment.

What you\’ll be doing

  • Placing and managing bulk and urgent purchase orders for contact lenses across the EMEA region.
  • Following up with vendors to ensure adherence to confirmed lead times and quantities.
  • Updating due dates in internal systems based on vendor production and shipment reports.
  • Monitoring open purchase orders and proactively flagging risks impacting availability or service levels.
  • Coordinating closely with Planning, Customer Service, Logistics, and Warehouse teams.
  • Supporting resolution of supply issues (delays, shortages, allocation constraints).
  • Ensuring procurement data accuracy and compliance with internal processes and controls.
  • Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within procurement and supply chain operations.

What you\’ll need

  • Experience in procurement, supply chain, or operations.
  • Strong understanding of purchase order management and vendor coordination.
  • Ability to manage multiple suppliers and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • High attention to detail and strong follow-up skills.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP experience is a strong plus).
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
