Description and Requirements
The Global Channel Marketing Communications & Events Manager is a key role in the management of our channel message externally.
We are looking for an expert in channel messaging & events who will manage our global channel communication efforts and content strategy for our channel events. Working as part of the International Sales Organization (ISO) the ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of operating in a B2B technology business and managing senior stakeholders. You’ll possess a real passion for the channel and get excited about working with different geographies.
Outstanding communication skills are a must for success and ideally experience of working in a complex matrix environment.
Location in the UK, ideally located near a Lenovo office location.
Your Key Responsibilities :
- Developing the visual and content execution vision for Lenovo 360 channel events, ensuring a cohesive and impactful experience.
- Collaborating with internal teams, including corporate event teams, geo event teams, and the broader channel organization, as well as third-party agencies, to deliver seamless event execution.
- Creating and executing external communications plans in support of Lenovo 360 events, including developing external comms and briefing documents aligned to the channel strategy.
- Working closely with the ISO Communications Team and Corporate Communications to develop communication plans and content, ensuring consistency and alignment with the overall brand strategy.
- Partnering with the Lenovo Corporate Brand Team to ensure Lenovo 360 is aligned with brand policies and guidelines, and managing the creation and execution of the Lenovo 360 award program.
- Developing and tracking communication project plans through Monday.com, and acting as an ambassador for global channel marketing, building strong relationships across Business Groups, Corporate Communications, Brand, Geo Marketing, and Channel Teams.
- Managing third-party agency relationships to maximize performance and successfully achieve plan execution, while working in partnership with the broader ISO Global Channel Team to execute on the Lenovo 360 vision.
Your Key Skills :
- 5-8 years B2B Channel event & communications experience is essential in either a vendor, reseller or distributor in the IT sector.
- Experience of project management including budget management & business review processes, previous experience of working in a global marketing role preferred.
- Strong team player with experience of working in a globally dispersed matrix organization.
- Outstanding attention to detail when managing multiple projects with excellent organization & planning skills.
- A flair for event execution with an eye for delivering high quality experiences.
- Strong skills in crafting compelling stories and messages for a professional audience
- Strong stakeholder management skills with experience in managing executive leadership attendance and speakers.
