Lenovo HPC PS (Hybrid Cloud Service Professional Cloud Services) team is looking for a Project Manager for Power and Cooling preferably based in Europe-META (UK) to join its Global Professional Services team. This position represents a rewarding opportunity to use your experience and skills in a dynamic, complex organization and to deliver across our major customer sites. You will be reporting to our HCS PNC Delivery Manager.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of data center power and cooling projects, from kickoff through commissioning and operational handover.
  • Own project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and execution, ensuring alignment with scope, timelines, and contractual commitments.
  • Coordinate installation, testing, commissioning, and acceptance of liquid cooling systems, CDUs, and liquid-cooled compute environments.
  • Manage site readiness, logistics, deployment sequencing, dependencies, and cross-workstream coordination.
  • Develop and manage WBS, track progress against baselines, monitor budgets, and execute risk-management strategies.
  • Support HPC and AI solution planning, including power, cooling, water, and data center placement requirements.
  • Track and report project milestones, risks, issues, KPIs, and compliance with Lenovo SSG governance and quality standards.
  • Act as a technical “translator,” supporting proposals/RFPs and effectively communicating between technical, facilities, and business stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in project management within data center, IT infrastructure, engineering, or HVAC environments.
  • Proven track record delivering complex, large-scale power, cooling, or data center infrastructure projects.
  • Strong understanding of data center operations, power distribution, thermal systems, and HVAC service delivery.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills in customer-facing, global settings.
  • High proficiency with project planning, tracking, documentation, and reporting tools.
  • Experience supporting HPC, AI, high-density computing, or liquid cooling environments (e.g. CDUs, water-cooled solutions).
  • Engineering background (mechanical, electrical, thermal, or IT infrastructure) and familiarity with Lenovo Neptune™ or similar technologies preferred.
  • Willingness to work remotely/hybrid with regional international travel (approx. 25–40%) and global delivery teams.
