Description and Requirements
As an HR Operations Apprentice, you will provide end-to-end support across core HR lifecycle processes while building your HR knowledge and professional experience. The role combines operational delivery with judgement, data insight and continuous improvement, helping to improve the employee and manager experience while maintaining strong compliance and data quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Own defined HR operations activities from intake to resolution (within scope), applying policy and escalating appropriately.
- Deliver accurate, timely HR administration across the employee lifecycle (onboarding, changes, leavers), ensuring documentation, approvals and system updates are complete.
- Maintain strong data integrity across HR systems; run regular checks and resolve or escalate discrepancies.
- Provide clear, customer-focused guidance to employees and managers on standard HR processes and how to navigate them.
- Produce meaningful operational insight (e.g., volume drivers, recurring themes, cycle times) to support improvements and planning.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives: simplify templates, update knowledge articles, improve trackers, and reduce rework.
