As a Cyber Security Architect, you will play a critical role in shaping and strengthening security across products, platforms, and services, working closely with engineering, operations, and business teams to reduce risk and embed security by design.

Reporting to the Principal Security Architect, you will influence security strategy, champion best practices, and help build resilient solutions that protect both Lenovo and its customers worldwide.

What You Will Do

  • Develop and execute cybersecurity strategies to identify, assess, and mitigate current and emerging cyber threats across the organization.
  • Act as a trusted security advisor, providing expert guidance and constructive challenge to ensure cyber risks are effectively managed and aligned with business objectives.
  • Partner closely with IT, engineering, and business stakeholders to implement a multi-layered security approach that protects the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of systems and services.
  • Support product, design, service, and operations teams by defining security requirements and ensuring secure implementation throughout the full lifecycle of products and services.
  • Collaborate with software engineering, Dev Ops, and Information Security teams to integrate security controls into CI/CD pipelines, cloud environments, and application architectures.
  • Promote secure development practices by championing secure coding standards, conducting code reviews, and identifying vulnerabilities early in the development process.
  • Investigate, analyze, and support the resolution of security incidents, providing subject matter expertise and risk-based recommendations to strengthen organizational resilience.
  • Develop and maintain security policies, standards, procedures, and playbooks, support audits and certification activities, review penetration testing and vulnerability assessment results, and drive continuous improvement aligned with industry best practices.
  • What You Will Need
  • Proven experience in cybersecurity operations, ideally within a Managed Services Provider (MSP) or fast-paced technology-driven environment, with a strong understanding of cyber risk management.
  • Industry-recognized cybersecurity certification such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, CEH, or an equivalent qualification demonstrating advanced security expertise.
  • Strong knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and standards, including ISO 27001, NIST, CIS Controls, and experience supporting their implementation and continuous improvement.
  • Hands-on experience with security technologies, tools, monitoring platforms, and SIEM solutions, including incident detection, response, investigation, and reporting.
  • Solid technical background in security operations, infrastructure, cloud, or network security, with the ability to assess and reduce security risks across complex environments.
  • Deep understanding of security best practices and techniques used to identify, prevent, mitigate, and respond to cyber threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and consulting skills, with the ability to influence, advise, and collaborate effectively across technical and non-technical teams.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, critical thinking, and decision-making abilities, with experience developing security policies and practices while balancing long-term strategic planning with immediate operational priorities.

37,800 - 50,400

EUR per year.

This range applies to the primary job location Slovakia and is determined using objective, non-discriminatory and gender-neutral criteria, including skills and relevant experience.

Final compensation will be based on relevant experience, skills, and business considerations.
