Description and Requirements
We are seeking a Workstation Commercial 4P Manager to join our Product & Business function in the UK&I region.
Reporting to the Head of Commercial 4P in the UK, this role is pivotal in ensuring the success of our profit and revenue contribution by taking ownership of our Lenovo client devices and partnering with Commercial sales managers and teams to drive initiatives that maximize mix, margin, and the overall commercial product portfolio.
You will work as part of building this growing area of focus and supporting our aspiration to be the best-in-class Product & Business Management function in the market.
Job Responsibilities
- Business Management & Planning
- Perform daily tracking of sales-out , as well as weekly analysis of sales-out, stock performance, and sell-in metrics against forecasts and quarterly plans.
- Identify, implement, and manage channel pricing, bid pricing, promotional activities, and weekly P&L forecasts/bridges.
- Co-own product forecasting with Sales, support the quarterly EMEA planning cycle, and align weekly priorities with local sales teams.
- Manage weeks of inventory and aged stock to ensure levels remain aligned with company targets.
- Analyze weekly market share, price points, and competitor activities to identify commercial opportunities.
- Participate in sales and customer meetings to determine customer needs and position appropriate Lenovo products.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, selected business partners, and alliance partners.
- Product Lifecycle Management
- Own designated product portfolios end-to-end, managing offerings, pricing, inventory, promotions, and spiffs from market introduction through to EOL.
- Effectively manage product transitions to maximize revenue and profit while creating distinct customer preference for Lenovo offerings over competitive alternatives.
Position Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of product and/or business management experience, ideally within the IT or technology industry.
- Degree-level or equivalent education in a marketing or business discipline.
- Strong commercial acumen with a deep understanding of channel management and channel-based sales models.
- Solid understanding of P&L financial management and business forecasting.
- Strong analytical approach with the ability to quickly draw actionable conclusions from company data and market research.
- Confident presenter with experience engaging and presenting directly to customers and channel partners.
- Strong influencer able to convince a sales team , with proven networking skills and the facility to communicate across a company matrix.
