Lenovo is looking for a motivated and detail‑oriented Sales Intern to join our UK team based in our Farnborough office on a fixed‑term internship contract. This role is ideal for a university student undertaking a placement year as part of their degree. You’ll gain hands‑on experience supporting sales operations, working closely with internal teams, business partners, and customers across Europe. This position involves regular collaboration with international colleagues and partners, and may include occasional travel to events or exhibitions.
Key Responsibilities- Support Internal and External Account Managers with daily sales operations and administrative tasks.
- Prepare quotes and bids tailored to customer specifications using CRM tools such as SAP and Microsoft Dynamics 365.
- Coordinate with Lenovo’s loan evaluation partner to manage demo unit logistics and returns.
- Track and monitor orders through manufacturing, shipping, and delivery stages, ensuring stakeholders are informed.
- Maintain regular communication with distributors and business partners regarding product availability, pricing, and deal closure.
- Assist in planning and executing marketing activities, including trade shows and partner events.
- Represent Lenovo at exhibitions and promotional events to engage with business partners and customers.
- Contribute to team and individual projects that support sales and marketing initiatives.
- Currently enrolled in a university program and on track to achieve at least a 2:1 degree classification (or local equivalent).
- Completion of a mandatory internship or placement year as part of your academic program.
- Prior experience in a professional or volunteer setting (paid or unpaid).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., SAP, Microsoft D365).
- Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Fluent in English (written and spoken); additional European languages are a plus.
