The EMEA Google Education Business Development Manager will support the EMEA organizations across the Region to achieve sales and financial goals on the Education segment. Lenovo has a big ambition on the Education segment and is driving a strong agenda to be and remain a leader in this important market. We see huge digitalization projects among all countries, and appetite to drive smarter learning and teaching methods, based on new technologies. The EMEA Google Education Business Development Manager will:
- Be responsible for driving a unified sales strategy with Google.
- Work with Lenovo Sellers, Education BDMs and partners focused on Education to identify opportunities, enable RFP response, drive pipeline.
- Be the key focal for Google for regional segment leads as well as own the Lenovo Education strategy and execution back to Google.
- Map and optimize local Google engagement for finetuned sales enablement activities for Lenovo to get a fair and appropriate share (especially on Channel).
- Align with Lenovo EDU BDMs to enable targeted growth in key markets in EMEA (differentiating actions in Mature and Emerging Google Markets), positioning Lenovo + Google Hardware, Software and Services with new customers while increasing share of wallet spending on focused accounts.
- Be responsible for strategic engagement and key wins from a Lenovo + Google perspective.
- Develop quarterly campaigns and track actions around successful launch of key products like CHRB, CEU, Google Chromebook Education bundle etc.
- Be a senior consultant for education decision makers around technology and digital transformation.
- Engage with EMEA Marketing team and Alliances partners for optimal coordination.
Typical KPIs:
- Year on Year Net Units, Revenue and Profitability Growth on Chromebook.
- Year on Year Growth on CEU Software.
- Uncover additional Chrome business like Chromebox, OEM signage, google workspace, Smart Collaboration.
Organization: The EMEA Google Education Business Manager will report to the EMEA Education Segment Director and work closely with the Chrome Business Unit, the Services and Solutions Group and the entire Education team and stakeholders.
Position requirements:
- Previous business management experience (5 years).
- Ability to master Google and Lenovo Strategy/Portfolio in EDU and to make it understandable for Account Manager and Partner Account Manager.
- Good Understanding of EDU Go-To-Market (Relationship vs SMB market motion), competition and Business Partner eco-system.
- Proficient relationship capabilities and ability to influence.
- Ability to build an EMEA plan from scratch and adapt it to local requirements.
- Enthusiastic about innovation and solutions in EdTech.
- Lenovo ecosystem and organization experience would be a plus.
- Work in a multi-cultural and multi-country organization.
- Experience in the Education segment (either sales, marketing, product management) is a plus.
- Fluent in English, other language is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent experience.
