Description and Requirements
We are seeking a strategic, results-oriented Manager to lead the Profit Operations team which will develop and implement strategies that maximize the profitability of IDG REL business. This role requires a deep understanding of financial analysis, market dynamics, and operational efficiency to drive sustainable profit growth across all business functions. The Profit Operations Manager will collaborate with senior leadership, finance, business management and operations teams to identify opportunities, develop strategies, and drive actionable recommendations that directly impact profitability.
Responsibilities include:
- Strategic Leadership: Lead the development and implementation of the segment’s short and long-term profit strategy. Align the profit strategy with business objectives, ensuring profitability goals are met.
- Profit Optimization: Identify and execute profit-boosting initiatives, including revenue growth strategies, cost-saving programs, and operational improvements. Recommend pricing strategies and cost management techniques to enhance margins.
- Financial Analysis & Reporting: Oversee the creation of financial models, forecasts, and performance reports to assess profitability and make data-driven decisions. Provide senior leadership with insights into financial performance and business opportunities.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with executive leadership, finance, business management, sales, and operations teams to ensure seamless alignment of profit-maximizing initiatives. Drive cross-departmental projects that impact profitability.
- Market and Competitive Strategy: Lead market and competitive analyses to identify external opportunities and threats. Recommend strategies to adapt to changing market conditions, ensure competitive advantage, and optimize pricing structures.
- Cost Efficiency: Identify and mitigate cost inefficiencies without sacrificing quality or customer satisfaction.
- Change Management: Lead and guide the organization through profitability-related change initiatives, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and cost consciousness.
- Performance Monitoring: Develop tactical KPIs and metrics to track the segment profitability performance, including monitoring the impact of strategy execution and adjusting plans as needed.
- Risk and Opportunity Management: Identify financial and operational risks and take proactive measures to mitigate them. Capitalize on emerging opportunities that enhance profit growth.

Qualifications:
- Minimum 10+ years’ experience in Finance, 4P or Business Operations
- Proven success in developing and executing profit strategies that have driven significant improvements in revenue, profitability, and efficiency.
- Strong business & operational acumen, experience in data analysis/metric development/dashboard development.
- Ability to lead a remote team
- Self-starter who can manage ambiguity and multi-geography business
- Customer orientation, open & effective communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to respond quickly to multiple issues and work under pressure.
- Bachelor’s Degree, MBA preferred

Base gross monthly salary starts from 4.250 EUR. The final offer could be, of course, negotiated higher than the advertised minimum – it all depends on your experience! In addition, there is also variable part (a bonus) in value of 14% of your annual earnings.
