Lenovo is seeking an experienced Technical Program Manager (TPM) to drive the successful delivery of complex AI systems, applications, and model development projects. As a TPM, you will serve as a bridge between multiple technical teams, product management, and stakeholders, operating in a fast‑paced, globally distributed company. Crucially, this role requires a strong technical foundation – the ability to understand and articulate complex technical details is essential for effective communication and problem‑solving with our engineering and data science teams.

Responsibilities- Project Planning and Execution: Define program scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with cross‑functional teams. Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocation strategies.
- Technical Leadership: Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, including engineering, product management, and stakeholders, to drive project delivery. Understand the big picture and system level to answer questions and clarify requirements.
- Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with technical projects, ensuring timely resolution of issues.
- Communication: Serve as a primary point of contact for project stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status, progress, and issues.
- Project Monitoring and Control: Track project metrics, identify deviations from plans, and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Process Improvement: Develop and implement process improvements to enhance project delivery efficiency and effectiveness.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: 8+ years of experience in technical program management, software development, or a related field, with a proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects.
- Technical Skills: Strong understanding of software development methodologies, technical architectures, and industry trends, with the ability to understand and discuss technical concepts related to AI/ML, particularly Large Language Models (LLMs).
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross‑functional teams.
- Project Management Skills: Proven experience with project management tools (e.g., Atlassian), techniques, and methodologies (e.g., Agile). PMP, PRINCE2, or another project management certification is a plus.
